Piano Generation was founded in 2019 by our Piano Tutor / Head of School, Kieren Ong. Our studios consist of 4 teachers and 100+ students.
Our Vision
To provide fun and highest quality private piano lessons in Adelaide for Kids and Teens; and
Attract, invest, and retain the best teachers in Adelaide by striving to provide a sustainable, long term career for our teachers.
Unlike many music schools, our teachers are not independent contractors, but trained and experienced team members of Piano Generation. We work, train, (and eat!) together to ensure we provide the best quality service and music education to our students, helping our students Learn, Play, and most importantly Enjoy piano and music.
Kieren - Head of School / Piano Tutor
Marden SA
With over 20 years of experience, Kieren teaches from our Marden studio to both children and adults of all standards. As South Australia’s only TopMusic Certified Teacher, Kieren is dedicated to establishing a studio that fosters creative teaching through a holistic and integrated approach, prioritising a student-centric method of teaching.

Eden - Piano
Campbelltown SA
Eden joined Piano Generation in 2025 with over 10 years of experience on the piano. He graduated from Marryatville High School in 2025, where he completed the SA Special Interest Music Program. With interests spanning Classical, Jazz, R&B, composition, improvisation, and music production, Eden enjoys helping students explore music beyond the notes on the page. Eden has performed in various jazz bands, and is set to commence Jazz Performance studies at Adelaide University in 2026.

Esther - Piano Tutor
Rostrevor SA
Esther joined Piano Generation in 2026 and is a dedicated classical pianist who has been playing piano for over 10 years. She is currently completing her Certificate of Performance while continuing her university studies. Esther specialises in working with children and enjoys helping them build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and achieve their music goals.
