Terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions are set out to maintain a fair dealing between us (Piano Generation) and the students/clients of Piano Generation. Should you have any concerns in relation to any of the following points, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss.
There will be no refunds on lessons already taken.
Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled at least 18 hours before the time of the lesson.
3 a. Group lessons must be purchased as a package of 10 lessons. Refer to 6. Packages.
3 b. Lessons may only be cancelled or rescheduled where all students agree to cancel or reschedule the lesson.
4 a. No classes will be conducted during SA School Holidays and SA Public Holidays.
4 b. Enrollment cannot be withdrawn or refunded after 7 days before the commencement day of the class.
4 c. Classes requires a minimum of 2 students to proceed. Where a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be processed to all enrolled students.
4 d. Piano Generation will not supply any books for the classes. Books must be purchased separately by the student. A list of required book(s) will be emailed to the students.
Each student (or group of students) can make a maximum of 1 lesson booking at any one time.
Where a package of 10 lessons is purchased (exclude classes):
5 a. Full payment for the package is required within 7 days after the first lesson;
5 b. Students may book all prepaid lessons in advance provided each lesson occurs weekly, on the same day and time of the week, and are for the same duration;
5 c. All lessons must be taken within 10 weeks after the first lesson, any remaining lessons after the 11 weeks period will be forfeited; and
5 d. There will be no refunds after the first lesson has been taken.
Piano Generation work with a number of independent piano and music tutors. These tutors are not employees, officeholders, or shareholders of Piano Generation and as such Piano Generation is:
6 a. not responsible of the pricing of the lessons taught by these tutors;
6 b. not responsible for the quality of the lessons taught by these tutors; and
6 c. not liable for the actions of these tutors.
Despite these exclusions (7 a. - 7 c.), Piano Generation will take reasonable steps to ensure that these tutors are fit and proper, and have the ability to provide quality lessons.
All tutors not listed on the About page are independent tutors.
To maintain a hygienic learning environment, students are required to remove their shoes prior to entering the studio.
Terms and conditions will be updated regularly. Updates will apply to all new and existing students. No notifications will be provided when an update occurs unless if the changes are significant.
